Se comunica a los miembros de la comunidad universitaria que el próximo día 17 de mayo a las 13 horas tendrá lugar en la Sala de Claustro de la Facultad de Ciencias la conferencia "THE EUROPEAN AEROSOL RESEARCH LIDAR NETWORK: EARLINET" , impartido por la Dra. Gelsomina Pappalardo, Responsible for the LIDAR activity at IMAA IMAA-uto di Metodologie per lAnalisi Ambientale CNR, Italiy

Additional Information:

Since 1993, she has worked in the development of lidar systems and analysis of atmospheric lidar measurements to study atmospheric radiation and dynamics. She coordinates the workpackage "Compilation of lidar ratio data base" in the frame of the EARLINET Project (European Aerosol Research Lidar NETwork). Elected member of the International Committee for Laser Atmospheric Studies (ICLAS) for the period 2000-2006. Elected member of the AMS Committee on Laser Atmospheric Studies for the period from January 31, 2001 to January 30, 2004.
